About Me

Before we dive in, let’s get to know each other a little more!

I firmly believe that without the personal, it’s impossible for humans to connect. So let me share a bit about myself. I am Ryan Letts and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. I am a native of Southern California. Burbank, specifically. I am a colorful product of show choir (think Glee) and I bring that energy and enthusiasm to all of my work. I am a pop culture and musical theater fiend, so don’t be surprised if analogies and metaphors involve Kate Winslet.

I have over a decade of experience working with the Deaf, disabled and LGBTQ+ communities through the non-profit sector. I am fluent in American Sign Language and tactile sign language (for the Deaf/blind) and happy to provide any other necessary accommodations. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Studies and a Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University.

Through my own anti-racism and allyship journeys, I’ve collaborated cross-culturally with individuals from intersectional identities to carve a comprehensive approach to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. I am a proud queer, genderfluid human who connects with people on a deeply human level, and I hold myself to that expectation wherever I go.
